Hi Kumar,

I got back to work today after the holidays. We had a wonderful stay
at your Majestic apartment. If we go again we will certainly be in
touch with you to rent the apartment. It was so peaceful and the 24 hr
security gave us confidence. The security officers were also very friendly and helpful.
As you suggested I took my sons to the roof top and showed them the
trains. It was a bit of a shame that we did not meet your B-I-L Udaya
(I did not know the relationship until he mentioned). I kept the Rs
10,000 the keys and the extra 2 sets of keys we made with the
security, as instructed.

The trip itself was not a real holiday. It was all rushing. Almost all
of 1st week went for the wedding preparation. Fit-ons rehearsals etc,
It all went well at the end. In general we felt that people in SL are
very busy and has become busier over the last 8 yrs. Even some of our
relos seemed to be selfish. We carried about 40kg of gifts. Also there
was about 25 kgs of food & medication for our son. Both kids loved it
there. All Sithum's meals were prepared at home even was taken to the
Hilton on the wedding day. Kids love to go back but it would not
happen for about another 5-6 yrs. We had a lovely time in Pinnawala
and then at Kandalama. Just one night at Kandalama was not enough to enjoy the serenity.

Last day we were in a mad rush to get to the airport and we were the
last to board the plane. We tried our best to tidy up the place but
could have had some cleaning to be done.
